We are still on cloud nine after returning from this trip of a lifetime! We had a fantastic time at each of the locations. The staff and the guides were uniformly terrific – warm, informative, accommodating and oftentimes quite funny. Everyone in our group enjoyed the variety in the places we stayed, each one being a distinctly unique experience.
We were fortunate to have Campi Ya Kanzi in Chyulu Hills entirely to ourselves. We would highly recommend this camp to others – the game drives were particularly special since no one else has access to the area, and the visit to the village of one of the guides was heart-warming and felt very authentic.
Angama Mara is over-the-top luxurious with views to die for. The game drives in the Maasai Mara were incredible, and the wildebeest, buffalo and zebra were present in droves.
Finally, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge was fantastic! We had the Tree Camp all to ourselves both nights, so once again, we relaxed and dined in our own private lounge and dining room. The views of the Crater were magnificent, the suites extremely spacious and comfortable, and the staff and guides were exceptional in their friendliness and attentiveness. We had a wonderful day exploring the Crater and a lovely hike along the rim in the late afternoon. The evening was topped off by a surprise birthday celebration for me which was most entertaining, joyous and memorable.
We can’t thank you enough for all you did to make this vacation so successful! The research and planning paid off in spades. All the flights and transfers went smoothly, the camps and locations were sufficiently diverse so as to provide singular experiences in each, and we were well-prepared for all possible contingencies, thanks to your unequivocal willingness to answer all of our many questions. Thank you also for the airport drop-off and pick-up. It was a welcome luxury that made the travel experience much less stressful.
Finally, I wanted us to be sure to let you know that all of the camps did a terrific job of providing Carolyn with gluten-free options.
